Villa Médicis Saucer, Garden and Statues

Oval dishes like Roman hippodromes, large, round and deep. Hand molded from black terracotta, each piece is finished in a milky-white glaze that highlights the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. In partnership with the Académie de France in Rome – Villa Médicis, this saucer is ceramic handmade in Paris, stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who crafted it.
