The Bunka is a versatile all-purpose knife with a shorter blade and a sharp, angular tip. It excels at precise cuts, slicing, and detailed prep, making it nimble and easy to handle in any kitchen.

Each blade is made from Takefu Aogami Super steel, clad in stainless steel for protection, with a forged distal taper. Handles combine a CNC-machined brass ferrule with stabilized, locally sourced walnut for balance, durability, and timeless feel.

Care Note

Aogami Super is a high-carbon steel. It will naturally develop a patina with use. As with all our knives, hand-wash and dry promptly after each use, and avoid leaving it wet or in contact with acidic foods for long periods. With simple care, the blade will last a lifetime.
