CCK small slicer (“Sangdao”); Carbon steel blade with a rustic kurouchi finish
This chinese cleaver has a distal taper and a very thin edge for slicing; it’s definitely not made for chopping through bones (see our Meat Cleavers for that)
Barrel shaped wood handle with metal ferrule and stick tang that’s folded over at the handle end
Blade measures 8.25 x 3.5″ and a weighs 9.3 oz.

Note: This CCK cleaver is made of carbon steel (not stainless); the blade will rust if not cared for properly and will form a darkened patina over time. These knives frequently exhibit imperfections in fit & finish which are not considered a defect.
