The rounded, tapering spine and matching choil, both polished to a high sheen, ensure comfort in the pinch grip. Handled in dark, richly grained Arizona Desert Ironwood with warm tonal variation, Don’s shield-style wa handle—rounded along the sides with flat top and bottom facets—feels wonderfully rewarding in hand.
