About flow blue
Flow Blue is a distinctive 19th-century ceramic style celebrated for its soft, misty cobalt patterns that seem to “flow” across the surface. Originating in England around the 1820s, the technique used a volatile chemical process during firing to blur the blue transfer-printed designs, creating the ethereal, watercolor-like look that defines the style.
