Safety compliance requires one (1) vent every (4) feet, giving you ample airflow to remove heat and potential gas build-ups that can occur. Due to the heavier weight of propane gas versus natural gas, propane venting is required on the bottom of your grill island or outdoor kitchen, while natural gas venting is required on the top of your grill island.
