Unmarked American or English 8″ Bullnose Butcher Carbon Steel Beech 6 Pin 1900-1940?

Unmarked American or English 8″ straight bullnose butcher knife with carbon steel blade and 6 pinned beech handle. 

If it was marked (many like this were made OEM and not marked) marks are lost, it is certainly American or English (I would vote English with the shape of the bullnose). It needed a little thinning and rust removal, so the faces of the blade have been ground down to facilitate better cutting. There is a tight hairline crack on one handle scale but is otherwise secure and ready to get to work.
